The World Pumpkin Capital of Half Moon Bay celebrates bountiful fall harvest with the Royal Granddaddy of Festivals featuring enormous champion pumpkins, 3 stages of smashing entertainment, live music, Great Pumpkin Parade SpongeBob SquarePants and Diego, bone-chilling Haunted House, harvest-inspired crafts, homestyle foods, expert pumpkin carver Farmer Mike sculpting monster 1,200+ pound pumpkin into likeness of animated supervillain MEGAMIND, photos with grand champion mega-gourd, pie-eating and costume contests, "Smashing Pumpkins: Battle of the Bands", the Take 5 Lounge with giant screen TV, festival-label wine, pumpkin-margaritas, pumpkin-mojitos and Mavericks Pumpkin Harvest Ale. Presented by the Half Moon Bay Beautification Committee.

The 40th annual ART & PUMPKIN FESTIVAL goes all out with spectacular lineup of attractions and events. Entertainment on three stages including harmonica great Mark Hummel; country icons The California Cowboys; Latin sound of Manicato; dance/cover band The Cocktail Monkeys; rhythm and blues guitarist keyboardist Ron Thompson; funky groove of Extra Large; Santana tribute band Caravanserai; folksinger Jim Stevens; The Dave Matthews Blues Band; blues singer Lara Price; cover band the Rodeo Clowns; and Marshall Law Band. Family Stage features performers from Radio Disney's "Next Big Thing" and debut of "Smashing Pumpkins: Battle of the Bands. Street performers include HeartStrings Music, Emerson, Bob "Stickman" Culbertson, Kaweh, and FatChanceBellyDance.

Shop for one-of-a-kind handcrafted items by America's finest artists and craftmakers among 250 booths featuring original work in glass, ceramics, metals, fiber, leather, wood, jewelry, and fine art. Enjoy pumpkin pie-eating contests, Halloween costume contest, pumpkin carving, Haunted House, Great Pumpkin Parade, Pancake Breakfast, 5 & 10k Pumpkin Run.
