3rd Annual Impact Awards to benefit The Sports Legacy Institute October 20, 2010

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will accept this year's Impact Award on behalf of the NFL for their efforts in 2009 to raise awareness of the youth sports concussion crisis through public service announcements in partnership with the CDC, as well as efforts to educate coaches and parents through their subsidiary USA Football. Proceeds from this event will benefit the SLI's sports concussion and brain trauma educational programs and research conducted at the Center for the Study of Traumatic Encephalopathy at Boston University School of Medicine.
