The prizes will be trophies, and access to executives during our Pitching Sessions. Last year our winner of the short film competition Kenneth O'brein directed a feature film entitled "Duelos de Pasarelas" and our Branding Director "Gaston Virkel" directed and wrote "De Rodillas."

Opening Night Celebration will be held at the Havana Club on Thursday, Oct 23rd and
will feature live entertainment and hot hors d'oeuvres. AWARDS GALA: The Awards Dinner will be held on Saturday, Oct 25th and will recognize the winners of the various competitions being held. By invitation only.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

Competitions:

The MARKET at FMM will organize competitions for the following genres: feature films, short films, documentary & television programming, both national and international projects. Awards will be presented at our closing luncheon. The film, documentary and TV show competitions will be pre-screened.

Pitching Sessions

The MARKET at FMM will host Pitching sessions on projects for the following four genres: film, documentary and television programs for both national and international projects. The selected finalists will have the opportunity to make their pitches on Friday from 5-7pm on October 24th,- 1-minute pitches for chosen projects.

Panels

FMM will conduct panels with industry veterans, on a wide range of topics such as distribution, packaging, how to market your film, production, post-production, how to make deals, etc.

Screenings

Pre-selected projects will be screened at the hotel throughout the day on Friday and Saturday, October 24th and 25th.
