3rd Annual Festival of Faith: Creating WOW Experiences in Your Church April 24, 2009

A weekend of spiritual renewal and enrichment beginning Friday night, April 24, with dinner and an inspirational presentation by our guest speaker--author and pastor Mark Waltz of Granger Community Church (Granger, IN). On Saturday morning, we will gather for a time of reflection with Pastor Waltz, and then break out into workshops to discover how congregations like ours can inspire first-time guests, how to turn guests into regular attendees, and how to keep long-term members inspired too. We conclude on Sunday morning, when Pastor Waltz will deliver the sermon at both the 8:45 and 11am worship services, with a Q&A session at 10am.

About Mark Waltz:
Mark is a unifying force at Granger Community Church. He has combined his church ministry experience with marketplace retail management and recruitment experience to unify all types of teams. In his book, "First Impressions: Creating WOW Experiences in Your Church", he offers practical and tested principles and strategies to help members and guests connect with each other, the church, and God.

Welcoming the 1st-Time Guest -- How do we a congregation give the guest a "WOW" experience?;
Transitioning Guests to Attendees -- Learning how to use the "WOW" to encourage guests to become regular attendees;
Welcoming Long-Term Members -- Servants must be "WOWed", too
