37th Annual New Year's Eve Celebration, Casino Ballroom December 31, 2009

This New Years Eve, Catalina Island will be the scene of a thrilling, unique New Years celebration, as party-goers dance and dine their way to midnight at the 37th Annual New Year's Eve Gala, Thursday, December 31, 2009, in the world-famous Casino Ballroom. Since 1929, the Ballroom has resonated with champagne toasts and dancing to dazzling music of Big Bands, performed this year by The Yachtsmen, a 17-piece big band performing music of the 30s, 40, 50s and 60s. The Gala includes buffet dinner, dancing, champagne split, one bottle of wine in a specially engraved bottle (#11 in a series), and party favors. A trio from the band will play during the dinner hour, and the full band will perform from 9:00 pm to 1:00 am. Coat and tie are required, and black tie is optional.

Convenient dinner sittings have been set for 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, or 8:30 pm.
