33rd Annual Marin Home Show & Benefit Jazz Fest May 30, 2009

Get jazzed at the Marin Home Show & Benefit Jazz Fest, a garden and home improvement expo featuring hundreds of exhibits showcasing the latest products for home, garden and living green, plus musical entertainment and special events benefiting musical education in local schools.

Learn about new solutions and products for water conservation and reduced energy use and the latest in energy-saving solar and heating, energy-efficient appliances, hybrid and electric cars. The Marin Home Show features “Going Green” seminars with conservation experts presenting latest information on green products and services, as well as news on conservation rebates offered by our local, state and federal governments.

State-of-the-art displays feature upcoming design trends the latest materials for kitchen, bath, spas, garden, landscape, plus home entertainment, office and security systems and new snazzy and energy efficient appliances. The Garden and Landscape Pavilion will feature garden structures, decorative outdoor items including a glass enclosed sun room, furniture, outdoor kitchens and water elements for the senses.

The Marin Home Show presents its annual fundraising event for local high school music programs - The JazzJam Playoff - featuring big bands from local high schools competing for the coveted 2009 Battle of the Bands title. This year’s headliner is the electric Pride & Joy with performances on Sunday in the Benefit Jazz Tent. Several Marin middle school jazz bands will also perform.
