2nd Annual Woof 'n' Walk October 14, 2007

Foundation for Animals In Risk (FAIR) will be hosting their 2nd Annual Woof ‘n’ Walk fundraiser on Sunday, October 14th at Reid Park from 8 a.m. to noon. The event celebrates FAIR’s 11th year of rescuing animals in Pima County and the entire community is invited to attend.
All registered walkers will receive a free event T-shirt and dog bandana. Registration forms may be obtained on FAIR’s web site www.faircares.org, by emailing [email protected] or by calling 520-904-3285. Registration fees are $25 per dog (one dog per walker) or $20 if submitted before October 1st. The event is sponsored in part by Animal Birth Control of Tucson, Lalama Building & Design and Canyon Community Bank. All proceeds benefit the animals at FAIR.
In addition to the distance-optional walk, the event will include vendors, food, music, contests, animals available for adoption, a puppy petting pen, children’s crafts and pet blessings. The walker who collects the most donations for FAIR will win $100 cash the day of the event.
FAIR is a non-profit 501(c)(3) no-kill animal rescue organization committed to promoting quality adoptions throughout Pima County. The Woof ‘n’ Walk serves as a fun way to celebrate responsible pet ownership with Tucson’s pet-loving community. Fundraising events allow FAIR to continue their mission by providing veterinary care, foster homes and supplies for rescued animals.
