2nd Annual Philadelphia Area Idiotarod (5pm) and Fireworks (dusk) July 4, 2010

This year, fireworks will be held on July 4th at 9:45pm. Fireworks will go off around the area of the Steel property. Main Street from the low bridge to Molly Maguires will be closed to traffic to allow for people to watch and set up chairs in the street. Earlier in the day will be the 2nd Annual Philadelphia Area Idiotarod. The Idiotarod is a shopping cart race - a huge hit last year and sure to draw a crowd again this year. Four "idiot" team members are tied to the cart, run along side of the cart and a "musher" guides the cart from the back. Race begins at 5pm. You'll have to see it to believe it!
