2nd Annual Pear & Wine Festival October 19, 2008

Santana Row will host the Second Annual Pear & Wine Festival, sponsored by Audi, on Sunday, October 19th. Guests will enjoy a day of festivities honoring Santana Row's heritage as a 65-acre pear orchard and the sweet fruit it produced. The festival is a must for food lovers, with chef demonstrations, wine tastings, live entertainment and even samplings of pear recipes by Santana Row Chefs. Guests will also be able to shop for the freshest fruit during Santana Row's Sunday Farmers' Market.

And the Food Network's Giada De Laurentiis will make a special appearance at 12 p.m. with a Q & A in Santana Row Park and book signing of her eagerly-awaited new cookbook, Giada's Kitchen. The Giada De Laurentiis book signing and Q&A is a ticketed event and space is limited. Tickets will be distributed in Sur La Table at Santana Row with the purchase of Giada's Kitchen."
