2nd Annual Marin Autism Lecture Series February 9, 2010

Marin County-based award-winning author and poet, Rebecca Foust, will speak along with East Bay author Laura Shumaker for the

2nd Annual Marin Autism Lecture Series. Ms. Foust’s book Dark Card, which explores themes related to raising a child with Asperger’s Syndrome (a mild autism disorder), won the 2007 Robert Phillips Poetry Chapbook Award. Ms. Shumaker’s memoir about raising a son with autism, A Regular Guy, was released in 2008 and has sold widely in the Bay Area.
