28th Annual Mill Valley Wine & Gourmet Food Tasting June 28, 2009

Wine and food connoisseurs will gather at the Depot Plaza in beautiful downtown Mill Valley for a Sunday of exquisite wines and delectable tidbits brought in by gourmet food vendors from all over California when attending the 2009 Mill Valley Wine & Gourmet Food Tasting. Celebrating its 28th year, the event was founded in 1981 by Jim Canepa, former owner of Mill Valley Market, and has evolved from “a little wine and cheese gathering” into a major Bay Area event. The Mill Valley Wine & Gourmet is considered the crème de la crème of wine tasting events, noted for its large selection of hard-to-find and sought after wines coupled with the newest items from the culinary world. Outstanding live jazz performed by the renowned Bay Area group Cross Section will compliment the activities on the Plaza. Tickets are $40 per person in advance; $50 per person day of event and includes a commemorative tasting glass and unlimited food and wine tasting.
