26 Exchanges is coming to life.

In association with International PEN, a number of writers around the world were teamed with members of 26. The pairs were then asked to develop a correspondence, a translation, and perhaps a relationship on the page and screen.

The idea caught the attention of Harry Pearce of Pentagram, who in collaboration with Sankey at All of Us, will be bringing the exchanges to life in three dimensions and digitally, as part of London Design Festival 09.

You can see the results next week, between Monday 21 and Friday 25 September, at an exhibition at the Royal Academy of Engineering. Its free, and open Monday to Friday, 9.30pm to 5.30pm for one week.

There's a book too, called 26 Exchanges, which will be on sale at the exhibition. Inevitably, there's also a twitter feed.

A big thank you to UNESCO and International PEN for helping us to bring it to life. And hope to see some of you there this week.
