24 Hours of Lemons April 3, 2009

The 24 Hours of LeMons is the most talked-about, fastest-growing, must-do event on the US car calendar. This is an endurance race for $500 race cars. No, that's not a type-O, the cars can't be worth over $500. Think of it as Mardi Gras on the race track. 100 cars all decorated and painted with different themes racing each other for two days to win $1,500 in nickels. There's never a dull moment during this race. The event is from 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM on Saturday with Live Music after the race. Sunday the race is from 9AM - 3 PM. Carolina Motorsports Park is located 1 Hour South of Charlotte.
