22nd Annual Ev Clay/PRSA Miami Chapter Endowment Fund Luncheon October 2, 2009

The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Miami Chapter will honor longtime healthcare and public-relations professional Karen Buchsbaum, APR, Fellow PRSA with the 2009 Bill Adams PRSA Lifetime Achievement Award and David Lawrence Jr., Founding Board Chair of The Children’s Trust, President of the Early Childhood Initiative Foundation and University Scholar for Early Childhood Development, with the Royal Palm Award for making significant contributions to Miami-Dade County. These awards are presented to individuals who exemplify exceptional leadership and contributions to the public relations profession, the community, and education. Both Buchsbaum and Lawrence will be honored during the 2009 Ev Clay / PRSA Miami Endowment Luncheon, to be held on Friday, October 2, 11:45 a.m. – 2 p.m., at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden. PRSA Miami will also award seven scholarships at the luncheon to public relations students from Florida International University, Florida Memorial University, Miami Dade College and the University of Miami.
