During this free public presentation about the ship's colorful naval history, the ship's captain, Commander William A. Bullard, III, and the museum's president, Burt Logan, will describe USS Constitution's legacy as an undefeated frigate and explain how she earned the nickname "Old Ironsides." They will present illustrated commentary on the ship's history, discuss life aboard "Old Ironsides" today and answer questions from the audience. The audience will discover the USS Constitution Museum's mission, educational outreach, and hands-on exhibits. There will also be a demonstration of the teamwork required to fire a cannon during battle, using a life-size replica gun deck and long gun.
