2020 VISIONS: DAVID KEPLINGER and MRIGAA SETHI

* David Keplinger is the author of three collections of poetry, including most recently The Prayers of Others, which won the 2007 Colorado Book Award. His translations of Danish poet Carsten René Nielson, The World Cut Out with Crooked Scissors, appeared in 2007 from New Issues Press. Keplinger is the recipient of fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, the Soros Foundation, and elsewhere. His first collection, The Rose Inside, was selected by Mary Oliver for the T.S. Eliot Prize. Keplinger resides in Washington, DC, and teaches in the MFA program at American University.

* Mrigaa Sethi was born in New Delhi and grew up in Bangkok. She is currently a MFA candidate at New York University where she teaches an occasional class, oversees the sending of rejection slips for the Washington Square review content, and sometimes works hard on her thesis.
