The 2010 Sunset Jazz Festival presents jazz prodigy Esperanza Spalding for a special indoor concert at the Knight Theater on Friday September 24th, 2010.

Blessed with uncanny instrumental chops, a multi-lingual voice that is part angel and part siren, and a natural beauty that borders on the hypnotic, the 25-year-old prodigy-turned-pro might well be the hope for the future of jazz and instrumental music. She performed for President Obama at the White House and Oprah featured her in "O" Magazine. Now, you can see Spalding live in concert in Charlotte. The special performance is apart of a two-day jazz festival in Charlotte produced by Pride Magazine.
