2010 Petersfield Town Juniors 6-A-Side Tournament June 18, 2010

We are currently organising the 2010 Petersfield Town Juniors 6-A-Side Tournament, at which over 250 teams will take part over the weekend of the 19th and 20th June 2010 at the playing field next to the Taro. The day starts at 9am and finishes around 5pm.

We are a community football club enabling children from all walks of life to play grassroots football. We help to train every child in a safe environment under qualified supervision which benefits health and fitness. We also believe that our club gives children the opportunity to make new friends, learn good sportsmanship social skills and feel that they belong as part of a team, it also gives them an interest outside of school. The weekend activities are mainly for the children but it also involves parents, grandparent’s aunties and uncles. The six-a-side tournament provides an opportunity for girls and boys from ages 7 – 16 years and of all abilities within the Petersfield community and beyond to participate in a well run tournament. The income raised is ploughed straight back into the club to enable the children of Petersfield to continue to enjoy their football on a weekly basis.
