New Programs! Expanded Enrollment!!

The 2008 Tech Academy is expanding enrollment and offering two additional sites in Alameda County in its quest to improve student understanding of engineering and technology and support their continued participation in math and science.

The three-week Academy for Middle School returns in the summer of 2008, and will include a new Advanced III Academy. Programs will be offered as 9am-noon or 1pm-4pm sessions and located at San Jose State University, Santa Clara University, Sobrato High School in Morgan Hill, Cal State University East Bay in Hayward and Alsion Montessori School in Fremont.

* REGULAR ACADEMY FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL - 6th, 7th & 8th grade students (as of Fall 2008) - AM and PM Sessions start June 23 & July 14

* ADVANCED ACADEMY I - Students entering 7th and 8th grade who have graduated the regular program - AM and PM Sessions start July 14

* ADVANCED ACADEMY II - For students entering 9th and 10th grades - AM and PM Sessions start July 14

* ADVANCED ACADEMY III - For students entering the 10th and 11th grades - AM only Session starts July 14

$300 for 3 weeks (scholarships available).
