2008 Portfolio Community Presentation – A Snapshot of the Nonprofit Cultural Sector in the Greater Philadelphia Region

Join us at the Chester County Art Association on Friday, October 24th at 8am for a special presentation of the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance’s most recent report, the 2008 Portfolio.

A follow-up to the Cultural Alliance’s landmark 2006 Portfolio report, the 2008 Portfolio offers a compelling snapshot of the nonprofit cultural sector today and how it has changed over the last ten years.

The 2008 Portfolio provides an in-depth look at the region’s non-profit cultural sector. Based on confidential and detailed information from 281 local arts and cultural organizations, the report gives insights into a sector that draws 15 million visitors annually and is driven by a workforce of 43,000 staff and volunteers. 2008 Portfolio looks at long-term trends in the sector and interprets a wide range of data including revenue, employment, attendance, fundraising and expenses.
