2008 Dumbo Dance Festival Gala September 25, 2008

WHITE WAVE will be hosting and producing the 2008 DUMBO DANCE FESTIVAL, celebrating its 8th consecutive year of showcasing emerging and established choreographers and dance companies. Concurrent with the larger 12th annual d.u.m.b.o. arts under the bridge festival, the DUMBO DANCE FESTIVAL is held from September 25-28, 2008 with performances in WHITE WAVE’s John Ryan Theater and the Brooklyn Bridge Park.

The Gala Benefit on Thursday, September 25th kicks off the festival, featuring spectacular performances by danceTactics performance group by Keith A. Thompson, johannes wieland, I-danse, Huiying Wills, Yannis-Adoniou's KUNST-STOFF and WHITE WAVE Young Soon Kim Dance Company with a black-tie reception to follow.

Tickets for this event are $100 and include a chance to win gourmet wine baskets, “dinner-for-two” at local DUMBO eateries, and much more! All guests will receive a complimentary LA MER and Jo Malone Boutique gifts from BERGDORF GOODMAN, including a $25 gift card and $185 exclusive facial treatment (est. value $250).

Funds raised at the GALA Benefit will help to cover this year’s festival production costs and will aid in the development of future performance programming at WHITE WAVE.
