The event is free.

History

Wayz-goose (n): An annual feast of the persons employed in a printing office, usually held on or about St Bartholomew's Day [August 24].

Although "Wayzgoose" is a somewhat obscure term in these times, the Alcuin Society is pleased to bring an updated version of this centuries-old tradition to the bibliophiles of the Pacific Northwest. Modeled on the long-running Grimsby (Ontario) Wayzgoose, the event will include a feast not of victuals, but instead of limited edition and fine press books from contemporary publishers.
