16th Annual Small Print Show and Holiday Open House December 9, 2005

The Chicago Printmakers Collaborative presents:

The 16th Annual Small Print Show and Holiday Open House,
featuring small works-on-paper and artist-made gifts by CPC members,
students, and invited guests.
Saturday and Sunday, December 10th and 11th, 12noon-7pm.
Two whole festive days devoted to small art, great food, a bit of eggnog,
enormous fun, and big general mayhem! the show will run through February 25,
2006, but remember, the artichoke dip and the baked brie might be gone by then...

The exhibition will highlight a variety of print media (made teeny) by over
40 artists. Artist-made books, cards, boxes, jewelry, and other cool stuff will
also be available. Most of the work will be for sale at less than $100.

Kim Ambriz, Hiroshi Ariyama, Jeff Atkins, Margaret Buchen, Alex Carroll, Aja
Engel, Sam Falbo, Lee Gatewood, Christine Gendre-Bergere, Michael Goro, Elise
Hughes, Carrie Iverson, Scott Kiefer, Deborah Maris Lader, Kim Laurel, Jeremy
Lundquist, Ben Marcus, Nichole Maury, Jeff McNear, Bert Menco, Kristen Neveu,
Duffy O'Connor, Dennis O'Malley, Mary O'Shaughnessy, Joel Rendon, Artemio
Rodriguez, Jeff Sippel, Jamie Solock, Bobby Sutton, Jerry Svoboda and more!

Our crew has been etching and rolling up and exposing (screens) and stitching
and stamping and inking up the teeniest little prints you ever did see. And
boy are they affordable! While supplies last! Get there first! As seen on TV!
(ok, just trying out a few commercial techniques I've been bombarded with
lately; I suppose it doesn't really work with fine art...). They've also been
honing the holiday menu, which promises to be "exotic" and "varied", and "edible",
as is our CPC custom around this time of year. And the best part, is that this
event is FREE! Please come and party and shop with us, or just view all the
beautiful things on the walls and drink some hot cider.

The Chicago Printmakers Collaborative is located at 4642 North Western
Avenue, in Lincoln Square, just across the street from the Western el stop on the
CTA Brown Line. Plenty of parking is available nearby.
