15th Annual Ridge to Bridge April 30, 2011

Saturday April 30; start times vary from 5:30 am to 11am

Hike or Ride through beautiful south Marin, and help complete the Bay Area Ridge Trail!!

The Bay Area Ridge Trail Council hosts its annual Ridge to Bridge in Marin County every spring, featuring hikes and rides with spectacular views of the Pacific coastline, the Marin Headlands, Sausalito, the Bay, San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge.

What You'll Enjoy at Ridge to Bridge
* A memorable day on the trails in Marin!
* Trail fellowship with other hikers, riders, and equestrians.
* Shuttle bus to the start (from near the Golden Gate Bridge, except equestrians and family hike), allowing you a one-way journey back to the Golden Gate Bridge

* Guides and Sweeps, so you can travel the trail at your own pace

Choose your Hike: 9, 13, 20 or 31 miles. Families enjoy a kid-friendly hike with a National Park Service Ranger to the Beach and back to lunch.

Pedal your Mt. Bike: 12, 28, or 35 (over 5000 feet of climbing!) miles

Ride your Horse: Trot along for 9 miles, with plenty of trail for additional miles!

Registration:
Advance registration is required. Attendance is limited and fills fast! Participants are asked to raise $115 to support the completion of the Bay Area Ridge Trail (Family hike is $30, equestrians ride $65). Each participant will have the ability to create their own fundraising page from which you can easily email friends and family asking for their support at $1, $5, or $10 per mile - the sky's the limit. Fantastic prizes will be awarded to top fundraisers! Raise the minimum or set a goal and have a chance to win great prizes including gear from REI.
