15th annual nature study cum rock climbing camp of Nature and Trekkers’ Club of Jalpaiguri December 23, 2008

The six days long camp comprises practical classes like short trekking, rope knots, introduction to adventure sports equipments, rock climbing, rappelling, river activities, jummer climbing, solo camping, treasure hunt and theoretical classes like mountain terminology, first aid, history of Indian mountaineering, survival, mountain hazards etc.
Interested candidates aged between 8 to 13 can participate in nature study group and those who are aged 14 and above can join rock climbing group.
After completion of the camp each participant will be awarded a graduation certificate and a course badge. Those who are interested may collect their forms and prospectus and submit it at the organisation’s office at Lokenath complex, Babupara, Jalpaiguri before 21 December 2008.
