Back by popular demand, Dr. Andriy Kryshtafovych presents his video excursion through the "bread basket of Europe" – Ukraine – from its 7,500-year-old Trypillian heritage to modern-day industrial and technological advances allowing Ukraine to compete on the world stage. Many surprises are in store for the audience to learn numerous discoveries are Ukrainian in origin.

The debut of this critically-acclaimed presentation with the lively Ukrainian soundtrack was at the San Francisco Main Public Library in 2011 celebrating Ukraine's Culture and 20th Anniversary of Independence.

Dr. Kryshtafovych is a Project Scientist at the Genome Center of UC Davis at Sacramento. He specializes in bioinformatics, applied mathematics and mechanics. He is also the conductor of the popular locally-based Ukrainian vocal ensemble, “Kolyada”.
