Calling all dogs! Help Texas break the Guinness World Record for “Largest Dog Walk”.
Join us for the Mighty Texas Dog Walk on Saturday, April 11, 2009. Over 10,000 dogs are needed to fetch the record back from England. Starting at the Congress Avenue Bridge in Austin, join us for a 3 mile stroll and plenty of goodies from our dog-friendly sponsors. The Walk begins at 9am and ends at 12 noon. Every dog gets a gold medal at the finish line and their best friends get a collector’s t-shirt. All proceeds benefit Texas Hearing and Service Dogs which adopts shelter dogs and trains them for disabled Texans free of charge. To register, visit us online at www.servicedogs.org
