Manna, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit housing and community development organization in the District of Columbia working for affordable homeownership and neighborhood revitalization. Founded in 1982, Manna?s mission is much more than simply building and selling affordable housing. Our strategy includes educating first-time homebuyers about the process of home purchase and providing financial literacy training for continued success as homeowners.

The Friends of Manna Reception is a high-visibility event that aims to increase awareness of the need for affordable housing in Washington and to raise funds to assist Manna to make our homes affordable. The reception and its impact continue to grow each year. Last year, thanks to generous corporate sponsorship and the attendance of hundreds of individuals, the event raised nearly $120,000.
