FOX TV’s New York Undercover star Malik Yoba, best known for the Fox TV series New York Undercover, the Disney film Cool Runnings, and Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married? and Why Did I Get Married Too?, leads an annual New York holiday tradition – the 100th annual reading of Clement Clarke Moore’s ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’ at historic Church of the Intercession (West 155th Street and Broadway).

Clement Clark Moore (1779-1863) was the son of Dr. Benjamin Moore, the sixth rector of Trinity Parish. In 1822, as a Christmas present for his six children, Moore wrote the poem that became a classic for all to cherish.

A lantern procession, wreath-laying and hot cocoa reception at the author's gravesite in nearby Trinity Church Cemetery & Mausoleum will follow the reading.
